Moroccan Mint Green Tea
Moroccan Mint Green Tea is created from a blend of strong Gunpowder Green Tea and Mint. This refreshing green tea is widely drunk in Morocco and across North Africa where the leaves are traditionally infused and served three times. Each infusion is poured into glass cups from a great height to oxygenate the tea and create foam in the cup. The first infusion is light and refreshing. The second has more depth, whilst the third is strong and astringent and is often served with sugar.
For a light and refreshing drink without bitterness brew Moroccan Mint for 3 minutes using water heated to about 80 degrees.
Due to its association with the Maghrebi region of North Africa it is also known as Tuareg Tea or Atay.
