Tea Traders is a specialist tea retailer and tea shop founded in 2017 by partners Nick Lee & Paul Raven. With over 100 leaf teas to explore, we sell one of the widest selections of loose leaf tea in Wales.
We are an award winning independent Welsh tea business located in Carmarthen, in the beautifully green county of Carmarthenshire. Whether you visit our tea shop in person, or shop with us online, we look forward to welcoming you and hope that you will enjoy shopping with us.
Tea Traders is a member of the European Speciality Tea Association. We actively seek out interesting and delicious leaf teas from quality producers around the world. Whether you are a leaf-tea enthusiast seeking out single origin teas, or a curious beginner eager to discover and taste delicious new teas we are sure you will find plenty of options within our range.
Many customers at the shop don't drink tea! Coffee drinkers are also welcome and we have many regulars who enjoy calling in for a friendly chat, a delicious cup of tea or coffee, a freshly made savoury snack or a slice of homemade cake.

Paul completed the Wales Tourism Ambassador Gold Award for Carmarthenshire in 2024 and is always happy to help visitors explore our region and to discover more about the history and heritage of our town.
