Nilgiri Frost tea - Finest is produced in very limited quantities at the wonderful Tea Studio, an innovative artisan tea company making exceptional, award winning teas in Coonoor, Nilgiri Hills, Southern India. The Tea Studio brings together the combined expertise of a team of leading tea experts from around the world. Overseen by directors from Camellia Sinensis tea company in Canada, with day to day operations managed and run locally by a female team with exceptional dedication and heritage.

We are very excited to add this speciality First Flush tea to our collection. 

Produced in very limited quantities at the very start of the Spring growing season, this wonderful tea is made from leaves and buds that develop during short breaks in the plant's dormant period. They are carefully harvested on cold frosty mornings between December to March. 

The leaves are carefully processed & lightly oxidised to create a superb lighter style First Flush black tea that has a fresh, lively, sweet flavour with the gentle astringency typical of First Flush teas. Infuse the leaves for 3 minutes.
