Rwanda Rukeri - Fairtrade Tea - This strong high-grown broken pekoe (broken leaf) black tea from the Rukeri region of Rwanda has plenty of depth and a pleasing body.
The estate has Fairtrade status and supports local farmers. It is located in the Mountains of the Moon region. The leaves are finely chopped using the CTC (Crush Tear Curl) method and produce a dark reddish aromatic infusion with a strong malty flavour. Enjoy with a dash of milk.
