Nepalese First Flush - Nepal's First Flush is a rare black tea with a deliciously light & refreshing flavour. These high-altitude tea plants, awakened by Himalayan snowmelt, create a unique seasonal treasure.
We are excited to add this distinctive, high-quality organic black tea to our range. The tea has been sourced from the Nepalese Tea Collective which supports micro-farms and artizan tea producers and helps bring their award-winning Nepalese teas to a global market.
Grown & processed at Kanchanjangha Tea Estate and Research Center Pvt. Ltd. (KTERC) which is the first certified organic tea garden in Nepal. The estate was founded in 1984 by Mr. Deepak Prakash Baskota to lift his community out of poverty. KTERC is still a model social enterprise that operates using cooperative infrastructure and prioritizes people and the environment before profit.
