Steamed Green - Large Leaf steamed green tea. Very slightly sweet with subtle umami and oceanic savoury notes. We think coastal with this one…it fits well with our Maritime climate! Best enjoyed in a glass cup.
Fans of fine teas will love these fabulous award winning large leaf teas grown and processed with exceptional care by Lucy George at the Peterston Tea estate in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. The marginal climate presents particular challenges for growing tea commercially in Wales, however these conditions put the plant under stress and this contributes to the intensity of the flavour profiles within each leaf. Peterston Tea have succeeded in producing premium Black, and Green teas that not only prove it is possible to grow tea in Wales, but that the results of that challenge are truly remarkable.
