Shou Puerh - This ripe Shou Puerh fermented tea is produced in the Yunnan province in China.
Fermented tea helps the digestive system and body function. The infusion is almost black in colour with a distinctive peaty aroma and a smooth, round earthy aftertaste.
There are two types of Puerh tea:
Ripe Shou Puerh & Raw Sheng Puerh.

Raw Sheng Puerh is naturally fermented and takes longer to mature. This tea is typically sold as compressed cakes and bricks. Like fine wine, rare or aged examples improve with age and can attract very high prices.
