Rooibos is a Broom-like plant with green needle-shaped leaves. It grows in the fynbos region of South Africa. The leaves turn their distinctive reddish colour once oxidised. This adaptable tea is popular for its taste and health benefits. The leaves of Rooibos tea contain antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. It gives a naturally caffeine-free infusion with a sweet and slightly nutty flavour.
Rooibos tea can be prepared in the same way as black tea, with boiling water and a 3-5 minute infusion.
Ingredients: Rooibos (min 77.5%), raisins, vegetable oil, apple, aroma, lemon peel, almonds, cloves, cardamon, thistle, cornflowers.
