Rooibos is a Broom-like plant with green needle-shaped leaves that grows in the Fynbos region of South Africa. The leaves turn red-brown once oxidised. This adaptable drink is popular for its taste and health benefits. The leaves of Rooibos contain antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins. It gives a naturally caffeine-free infusion with a sweet and slightly nutty flavour. Rooibos Citrus tea can be prepared in the same way as black tea, with boiling water and a 3-5 minute infusion. It can be enjoyed by itself, or with a slice of lemon.
