Ceylon Tea Directors Cut - Sourced direct from the farm! - Superb quality, full bodied single origin orthodox black tea sourced directly from the Devagiri tea estate in the low elevation Ruhuna region to the South of Sri Lanka. The orthodox leaves are well twisted, aromatic, and velvety black in colour.
This fine black tea is naturally smooth and refreshing with a deep red colour. A great choice if you enjoy your tea with a dash of milk. Think of this as a premium single estate version of English Breakfast.
Devagiri tea estate has been in the same family since 1947 and employs over 100 people from the local community. The current directors are grand-daughter Rosh & her partner Mike who took over running the business in 2022.
