Earl Grey Finest Black Tea - An excellent well flavoured classic Earl Grey tea that blends fine quality Ceylon tea with the intense citrus aroma and zesty flavours of Bergamot. Specially blended to give a stronger, more intense bergamot flavour. Enjoy with milk or without. Some people like to add a slice of lemon for added freshness.
Legend has it that Earl Grey tea was named after Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey, but no direct link to the Earl has been proven. It is thought that the addition of Bergamot may have originally been used to mask the flavour of inferior grade tea, however the flavour combination quickly became incredibly popular leading to the premium blends available today.
Ingredients: Ceylon black tea, Bergamot oils and aroma. May contain traces of nuts.
