Fu Brick Tea - Fermented Tea
Fu Brick Tea - Fermented Tea - Fuzhuan Cha - Dark, fully fermented Fu Tea traditionally produced in Shaanxi Province in China. In recent years the main centre of production has moved to Anhua County, Hunan Province.
This aged fermented tea contains Golden Flower (Eurotium Cristatum) a probiotic fungus that aids the digestive process. Fu tea bricks makes a great alternative to other compressed fermented teas such as Sheng Puerh tea cakes.
Fu brick tea has a light, earthy, honeyed character. It is highly regarded in China where it has been the subject of a number of scientific research studies. If drunk regularly the tea has a number of health benefits for the digestive system, body function and general well-being.
