Gaiwan - Porcelain - Brewing Cup 0.15L
The classic Chinese brewing cup for infusing large leaf tea. Gaiwan translates as 'Lidded Bowl' and is traditionally used in Gong Fu brewing. The Gaiwan acts as an infuser; you steep the leaves for a short time and pour the liquid out into a sharing jug (gongdaobei) or straight into small tasting cups, using a slight gap in the lid to strain the leaves.
