Gunpowder Green Tea - Organic - A classic medium to strong green tea from China.
Large leaves are rolled into small pellets which have a fine toasty flavour and the appearance of gunpowder shot. The leaves unfurl while brewing and provide a delicious yellowish infusion with a rich full-bodied flavour.
Gunpowder tea is traditionally used to make 'Moroccan Mint tea. It is brewed strong and combined with mint and sugar in the distinctive Ataya brewing method of West Africa and the Maghreb region. The method has been simplified and adapted to create the easy drinking Moroccan Mint blend that you will also find in our range.
