Lapsang Souchong Tea - A classic smoked tea that divides opinion! The deep smoky flavour and aroma is beloved and disliked in equal measure!
Lapsang Souchong is an ancient black tea from Fujian province in China. In the final stage of production the tea is hung in baskets over smoking pine-wood. The smoke infuses the tea and gives the tea its distinctive and intensely smoky aroma and flavour.
Be warned, you'll either love or hate this tea! If you enjoy peaty, smoked, whisky like aromas and smoky flavours this may be just the tea for you.
