Mao Jian Green Tea
Xinjang Mao Jian Green Tea is designated as one of the Top Ten most famous teas in China. Also known as Yu Mao Feng, this fine quality green tea is produced from tea fields in the Dabie Mountains around Xinyang, in Henan Province. The dark green dry leaf is twisted & wiry. The tea is renowned for its delicious sweet flavour and distinctive 'thick' pleasant mouthfeel. This comes from the abundant white hairs (pekoe) on the buds which are released when brewing. The yellow-green infusion is refreshingly brisk, with a long aftertaste. The tea has a fragrant aroma.
