Russian Caravan Black Tea - A popular and well-flavoured gently smoked blend using black teas from India, Ceylon, and China.
The name originates from the tradition when years ago this type of tea was transported from the Chinese border on the long arduous journey along the Silk Roads to Moscow by camel caravans. The packed tea gradually absorbed the smokey aromas of the campfires on route.
The infusion is golden brown with a mild smokey taste. Easy drinking, and deservedly popular.
