Russian Caravan - Black Tea - A popular and well-flavoured gently smoked blend using teas from Darjeeling, Ceylon, and China.
The name originates from the tradition when years ago this type of tea was transported from the Chinese border along the Silk Roads to Moscow by camel caravans and the packed tea absorbed the smokey aromas of the campfires on route. The infusion is golden brown with a mild smokey taste. Easy drinking, and deservedly popular.
